Tech Tip: Schedule Publish Feature

Administrators!  Have you ever wanted to  create your work schedule for a month or two out but didn't want anyone to see the changes you were making until you finished? If so you would benefit from using the "Schedule Publish" option in your EMS Manager, FIRE Manager or Zanager system.  Here's how it's done:




  1. In the upper right hand corner select the "Setup" link in the upper right.
  2. From the left hand column select "Schedule Publish."
  3. Enable the schedule publish option.
  4. Select the method which you would like to publish your schedule.

-Automatic: Specifies the furthest month in the future to display for non-administrators and will be published on the given date and time you designate.
-Manual: Specifies the furthest month in the future to display for non-administrators and needs to be set each time you work on your schedule and don't want people to see.
-Custom: Specifies when to publish the schedule for non-administrators based on a custom rotation you set with the options available.
*Be sure to save changes when you are finished.
